Two Tone Wedding Bands

My future husband and I are using temperary rings for the ceremony until we save enough to get white gold later on. I’m wondering if lots of peopple get silver wedding bands, and can people tell it is sterling silver? It’s stupid I know, but I don’t want to be judged.

In 6 months my body dissolves the gold on my wedding ring so thin it needs fixed, how can I stop my body from being so acidic against gold? What about the metal used in pins, and rods used in surgery. Will they dissolve also?

Or will you each go separately, so that it will be a surprise on the wedding day? Also, how many months before your wedding will you do this?

I found a platinum and gold wedding band some years back and thought I would try to sell it. The only problem is that I have been trying to check online if pawnshops will buy an "engraved" ring and can find no information. Obviously the ring isn’t mine and the engraving just says the names of two people and a date. Will the pawn shop still buy it even though the ring is clearly not mine?

Most engagement rings are fancier and have stones, but most wedding bands, for both the bride and groom, are plain bands.

Any specific reason for that?

I am getting married to a Turkish girl and to please her family a bit we thought we would try and get a small band to play Turkish music at the wedding in London. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a Turkish band, just Turkish music and failing that, even just a Turkish DJ or something… I really have no idea where to look for that kind of thing – please help!

Please don’t give me websites where I can order. I don’t want to purchase a Tungsten Carbide ring online since it can be troublesome (estimating ring size, shipping, risk of scam and damaged products, etc.). Besides, I want to see the rings in their actual form before buying them because some rings look good in the pictures but not in actual.

Is it practical to have pink sapphires and diamonds in my wedding band? My engagement ring has a round brilliant cut stone and the band has seven round diamonds on each side, all are white BTW. I’ve seen a couple wedding/anniversary bands that have round pink sapphires and white diamonds on them. I think they’re gorgeous and my wedding color is bright pink. Would it be weird to incorporate that into my ring set?

I’m looking for more alternative looking rings or bracelets for my fiancee and myself who who want rings that match our personalities.

I don’t really care what type of metal..i mean i obviously want it to last…i don’t even know if this exists but we would love to have pink rings. and we don’t want pink stones.

My fiance and I would like something unique, not too modern/geometrical, in tungsten or titanium. We’d really like there to be some black in the design as well, maybe with a naturalistic or Celtic engraving? I know this is soooo specific, I’d also settle for something silver in color and just really unique.

I’ve just bought my fiances w.band but I didn’t ask for any engraving, they will do it for free but i dont know if I wan to add anything, what do people normally do? he didn’t engrave my e. ring and my band is so thin it probably wont be engraved.

My girlfriend really wants her boyfriend to get her his/hers wedding bands from "Crown Ring". They are willing to spend a total of 1500.00$ CAD on both ring. Does anyone know of any websites that I could order a bridal set that is silver and has cubic Zirconia gems?? I am going on vacation and do not want to wear my real wedding band set. I have fear that I may lose them. And that would be my luck, to lose them on vacation.

My fiance’ gave me a vintage style split shank engagement ring when he proposed, but I am having problems finding a band that works with the ring. The ring is already pretty prominent on my hand so I don’t want a band that overpowers my finger.
